Country Jim Palmer is a local talent who lives in Corinna, Me. He started performing professionally at age 15. Country Jim is a singer/songwriter who plays rhythm guitar & harmonica. He has won numerous State, National/International awards and New England Regional awards for his songwriting, vocals & entertaining.

Country Jim is an International recording artist and his music is being played through out the world. Country Jim has made many appearances on Maine Public TV and in addition, several live Maine radio specials. In 2004, Country Jim traveled to N.S.W. Au. for a two month tour with the band "Ironbark" who appear on his "Old Rusty Nails" album. Country Jim is currently performing with Potpourri & solo artist Lolalee. Country Jim performs a variety of music to include Country, Folk, Gospel, Patriotic, Blues, Oldies and Classic Rock.

Country Jim has been playing country music since 1965. He has traveled all over the United States playing dance halls and clubs and bars . He has written ove 1000 songs and performs them wherever he goes. He has played music in Maine since 1979 and still draws crowds with his style of country humor and wit. He has won numerous awards from Downeast Country Music Association and Pine Tree State Country Music Association and the Connecticut Country Music Association for song writing and performing. Country Jim is proud to have been chosen to be on both the Downeast Country Music Association and the Connecticut Country Music Association compilation cd's
